This week I would like to change subjects to give my prayers to the families and friends of the Paris victims. The 158 concert goers need to be remembered as people, not a message, or combat statistics, but as PEOPLE. The horrible ISIS terrorists will pay for this attack on the freedom of the world. The stupid Muslims that live in their tiny shacks hiding guns and Islamic villains shall meet the fury of our boys in green and tan at the barrel of an M4A1 or an unpinned grenade or two. This recent attack makes me want to join the military even more, but I can't because I'm only thirteen years old. I would like to take this next sentence to call out the President, Obama, so that he will attack ISIS even more than he already does. War never changes, this will be just like Afghanistan and WW2 and all the other wars. People will fall and evil will seem to be winning, and then we shall destroy it. Again I would like to pray about the tragic deaths this month.

About Me
I would like to tell you about myself in this post. I would first like to tell you about things that I do. My favorite pass time is playing video games. I am a really good player at many a different games. My favorite video game is Minecraft (a game about building things with blocks). I have a cat and she is my favorite animal in the whole world. I also have 3 dogs and 1 turtle. I've only ever been in one other country, the Bahamas. I have one brother and no sisters. My favorite book series is Harry Potter. I have many friends who support me. When I was little I caused a lot of trouble in my house. For instance, when I was little I got some butter out of my fridge and some yellow spray on dog medicine. I rubbed the butter all over the toilet seat, and I sprayed the dog medicine on the bathroom wall. My mom came downstairs and went into the bathroom. She then sat on my toilet and slid off. She also then noticed the yellow part of the wall. My butt was black and blue for a week. At the time she didn't know that Zach (my brother) had helped me with it, so I told her and he got whooped to. I can't wait until Christmas of 2015 because I will be getting a game called Fallout 4. Fallout 4 is a game about a post nuclear war wasteland. Fallout 4 is the 6th installment (game) of the Fallout series because the actual 4th Fallout game was Fallout 3.

Quinton Learns to Cook 2
This week I will be learning how to fry chicken, cook spaghetti, and bake biscuits. I do not yet understand yet how a spaghetti starts out as a stiff, easily broken stick and then turns into a very flexible noodle. So far I have cooked only one of the recipes my grandma taught me and that recipe was for pancakes. I cooked the pancake at my school's art club meeting for the month of September. In the art club we used food colored pancake mix to make pancake art. My pancake art was the word PRIDE (our schools motto: Perseverance Respect Integrity Dependability and Excellence), unfortunately I wrote it backwards so it spelled EDIRP. My teacher asked me if I could make it again, except this time have it correct, so I did. The new pancake turned out good, so my teacher took a picture and taped it to a wall of different PRIDE related things. Both of the pancakes tasted pretty good with some maple syrup on top.

Quinton Learns to Cook: 1
For my 20 time project I will be learning to cook. My mentor is my grandma (Brenda J. Shiflet). The first things I shall try to learn to cook will be pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. So far my grandma has told me how to cook those meals, so I wrote everything she said in my writers notebook. At the end of the year I plan to try to cook something for our class. I want to learn to cook so I can take care of myself in the future. I haven't attempted to cook anything yet. Someday I hope to turn cooking into a possible career path for me. I also wish to thank my grandma for mentoring me for free. My favorite food is spaghetti, so I was hoping to get my grandma to teach. I've been thinking about possibly buying a cook book and trying something in it.
